We have big news that I want to share with you personally:
On Monday I have sold all shares in SABIO GmbH to Serviceware SE in Bad Camberg.
Serviceware is a leading provider of service management software. SABIO will integrate with Serviceware’s Enterprise Service Management Platform (ESM), adding knowledge management to a modular platform of process, resource and financial management software.
It makes me proud to see us join Serviceware and become part of a bigger entity, bringing with it both plenty of services know how and the financial means for further investments. Also, those of you who know me personally will know how much I value a certain humanity and pragmatism, so I am especially happy to have found a strong partner in this regard as well. Together we will keep working on the future of the world’s easiest knowledge management software.
Serviceware went public in April and has a strong focus on growth that will benefit SABIO on both a product and organizational level. In the past, Serviceware already incorporated 3 other software companies, all of which are still developing their own products and running their own independent organizations.
This is where I want to introduce to you Constantin Gaul. Constantin Gaul is Head of Growth at Serviceware and from now on we will share management responsibilities at SABIO. Dear Constantin, I am really looking forward to our future collaboration and I am thrilled to be able to present to you the world’s best customers.

Alexander Holtappels will remain Managing Director at SABIO and will continue to be available as your contact.
What does this acquisition mean for our ongoing business?
On a day-to-day level everything remains the way it is. Our company’s organization, its responsibilities and roles remain unchanged.
Does this acquisition have any contractual ramifications?
No. SABIO will continue as its own entity, so that no contract will need to be changed.
