We would like to inform you about the purpose, nature, and scope of the collection, processing, and use, of personal data on our website.
When visiting our website, data is generated, processed, and used, that inevitably may occasionally contain links to particular individuals. To display the website on your browser, we need to collect and save your IP address. Currently, IP addresses are generally supplied by your provider. Such addresses are usually changed regularly so that we are unable to derive any identifying data from the IP address. In the case of static IP addresses, however, it is theoretically possible to link them to individuals in certain cases.
Specifically, the following set of data from every visit to our website is stored:
· IP address of the visiting computer
· Operating system of the visiting computer
· browser version of the visiting computer
· name of the accessed file
· date and time of access
· data volume transferred
· referring URL
Said data is stored by our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Germany. The stored data is used exclusively for statistical purposes, to block malicious content, spam, but not to derive personal data. The data is also used to facilitate troubleshooting. On termination of your visit on our website, we are no longer able to access your IP addresses.
We use the web analysis tool Google Analytics by Google Inc. („Google“) to ensure that our website is designed to meet the needs of our customers. Google Analytics uses so-called „cookies“, text files that are stored on your computer and that help us analyze your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the U.S. and stored there. We use a „_anonymizeIp()" script to ensure that Google immediately anonymizes your IP address (following geolocalization).
Google will use this information to analyze your use of the website, to prepare reports about website activities for the website operators, and to provide other services related to website and Internet use. Said reports may also contain demographic features. Also, Google may transmit such information to third parties if so required by law or if third parties process said data on behalf of Google.
Under no circumstances whatsoever will Google associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You can prevent the installation of Google cookies by changing the settings of your browser accordingly. Please note, however, that this may prevent you from using all functions of the website. Furthermore, Google provides so-called deactivation tools for some Internet browsers that enable you to prevent your user behavior from being recorded and analyzed.
