INFORMATION SECURITY

Access to the Serviceware Knowledge application and the attached systems is protected by industry standard encryption algorithms.   The entire Serviceware Knowledge application is protected by a redundant firewall.   Only for Serviceware Knowledge Enterprise: Connection is possible via encrypted proxy, VPN, or dedicated line. User authentication occurs via LDAP or Active Directory connection and a Single-Sign-On system that does not transmit user-specific passwords.

PASSWORD PROTECTION

We value safe passwords to protect against external unauthorized access. Password requirements can be customized. Definitions can be set to ensure the use of upper- and lowercase characters, special characters and digits. Password length, validity, and several additional conditions can also be individually configured.
