Blondes Have More Fun!

THAT’S US. THIS IS HOW WE WORK.

What is important to us about how we work together, and what are our must-haves? Everything about SABIO as an employer.

WORKING AT SABIO

MOBILITY AND HOME OFFICE

We want to make working from anywhere on the planet as easy as it is to work in the office. That’s what our equipment is set up for. We use Macs, tablets, and smartphones. Even though there are many situations that make it necessary to sit down together as a team in the office, we’re open for remote working. If the team agrees, that can mean a home office, or some other location.

THINK—AND ACT—GLOBAL

SABIO is an international organization serving customers that are located all over the world. In addition, Serviceware SE is growing rapidly, particularly on the international stage, with operations in England, Sweden, and Mallorca.

TEAM SPIRIT AND OUTINGS

We’re laid back and down-to-earth. We talk to each other in a friendly tone, and we have rituals and excursions we like to take to help us grow as a team. Once a week, we have our team lunch and subsequent transparency meeting. Off-site staff help provide an outside perspective, and we often end up grilling and celebrating on the patio.

PART-TIMERS WELCOME

We believe that work should always fit the employee’s life and circumstances so that our people feel good about their jobs. As a result, we are open to part-time work. Working part time doesn’t have any influence on an employee’s career or chances for a promotion here. We’re interested in quality, not quantity. At SABIO, it’s not only new parents who work part-time. There are others here who have simply made a decision to pursue a work-life balance that’s right for them.

BIRTHDAYS OFF AND OTHER BENEFITS

We want our employees to rest and recuperate. That’s why we make sure you take your vacation every year. And we feel that there are some days you just shouldn’t be at work. Like on your birthday. Course we also provide the obligatory foosball table, a fruit basket, beverages, and commuter transit passes for Hamburg’s public transportation system. And to top it off, you can even use our lounge and rooftop patio for private parties.

OUR VALUES FOR WORKING TOGETHER

T

OGETHER

We value communication. We talk to each other on a regular basis and keep each other informed. That means making compromises to achieve the best possible results instead of forcing one’s own opinions. We’re confident that we are capable of better work together than we are if we go it alone.
O

PENNESS

We’re open for new ideas and new ways of thinking. They give us the opportunity to make positive changes. That’s why we embrace diverging opinions and views, and why we refrain from rushing to judgement. We strive to value each other and our ideas—day in and day out.
T

RUST

Trust has a lot to do with reliability. That means keeping one’s word and standing behind those words with actions. We also feel an obligation to our community and work to support it. To us, honesty means being able to admit our own mistakes and weaknesses while giving others validating feedback.
E

MPATHY

We value both minds and hearts at SABIO. We try to understand others by considering what it would be like to be in their shoes. We always show mutual respect for one another and mind personal boundaries. When a conflict arises, we remain objective. We pay attention to the feelings and needs of others and consider them in our actions.
